How to assign a case to new agents or departments?

You can assign a case to a new agent or department from the cases view in Resolution1. For example, you can open cases view, and choose the case you want to assign to an agent or department, in just a couple of clicks. 

To assign cases to a new agent or department, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Go to the Cases page;
  2. Select the case you would like to assign to a new agent or department:

To assign case to a new agent:

      1. Click the Assigned to dropdown for the case that needs to be reassigned;
      2. Select the agent you want the case to be assigned to. The case will be assigned to the new agent instantaneously.

To assign case to a new department:

      1. Click the Department dropdown for the case that needs to be reassigned;
      2. Select the department you want the case to be assigned to. The case will be assigned to the new department instantaneously.
